Hillary completed her Bachelor’s degree from Huntington University where she majored in Youth Ministry. After seven years in full time youth ministry, she went on to complete her Masters in Mental Health Counseling also at Huntington University. She is currently working toward her clinical licensure. Hillary has experience in several different environments, including working alongside undergraduates on a college campus, doing outpatient group therapy at Parkview Behavioral Health, and seeing individuals in a private practice setting. She works with adolescents and adults to address a wide variety of struggles including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, transition, identity and self-acceptance. Hillary believes that human relationship is a powerful vehicle for change and is honored to accompany her clients as they seek healing and transformation in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. Hillary incorporates several theories and techniques in her counseling including an emotions-focused style using internal family systems and body awareness as she journeys side by side with her clients.
