Anger Management

Therapy groups will meet on Monday, September 10th. They are led by a Master’s level counselor with experience in addictions and groups. This will be a highly confidential group setting.  Each group session will cost $25. Pornography Addiction Therapy Group – 6:15 pm. Pornography addiction can be devastating and difficult to overcome on your own since it is more prevalent now because of the internet. Usually there is no place to turn but to keep it a shameful secret. In this therapy group you will understand the underlying feelings that drive this addiction and more constructive ways to deal with these feelings. Each person will complete an assessment tool. The group will consist of structured group exercises with personal application and discussion.  Each person will also develop an impulse control plan which becomes their guide when outside the treatment program.

Anger Management Therapy Group – 8:00 pm. This group will be an educational, hands on approach to understanding how you get angry. You will learn what anger is, how to detect your anger early on, and what triggers your anger. You will learn the good and bad uses for anger. You will discover new ways of being and relating so you can gain control of your life again. Upon completion you be better prepared to deal the challenges of living in today's world, even when it gets frustrating and unfair.
