The Safe Haven:
A Support group for Chronic Pain and Physical Illness and Challenges

The Safe Haven is a support group for people who face the daily reality of chronic pain and/or physical illness and challenges. These challenges may result from disease, injury, surgeries, or other physical disabilities which create unique struggles for the individual and their family. E - Encouragement in facing daily struggles and challenges.
L - a Listening ear and opportunity to share feelings in a safe and understanding environment
P - Practical ways to adapt and cope with chronic pain, illness and physical challenges.

The Safe Haven support group meets from October through April on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held at Wabash Friends Church (3563 South SR 13, Wabash, IN 46992) in rooms 108/109 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This support group is free of charge and adults of any age or gender who suffer from chronic pain, illness or other physical challenges are welcome to attend.
