Caroline earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Taylor University, and earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also received an Addictions Certification through her Master's work, and has worked in the counseling center at Taylor University since 2009. Caroline is a licensed mental health counselor, a licensed clinical addictions counselor, and a national certified counselor, with areas of specific interest in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, grief and loss, chronic illnesses, and increasing resilience and wellness. Caroline is also certified as clinical trauma professional. In addition, Caroline is a national and international writer and speaker, and has traveled across the world speaking on work-life balance, cognitive biases and decision making, increasing wellness and resiliency behaviors, and suicide prevention (especially among the chronically ill population).
