Cheryl is a licensed clinical social worker and enjoys working with children, adolescents, women and families. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Indiana Wesleyan University and earned her Master’s in Social Work at IUPUI. Cheryl has a history of working with children and adolescents through a partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient groups, and clinical private practice settings. Cheryl ‘s counseling experience over the past eight years has focused on working with children and families through play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, parenting skills, and healthy coping skills. Cheryl specializes in working with youth, women, and families with mental health areas of anxiety, depression, trauma issues, behavioral issues, divorce, grief/loss, adjustment issues, and relationship issues.
