Tim Walkoe (Friday): one of the most entertaining and versatile comedians on the national comedy scene today.  The Chicago Tribune’s review of Tim raved, “Nonstop laughter from start to finish.”  He is also the Grand Prize winner of ABC’s “America’s Funniest People”

Saturday night offers multiple options. Those looking for a night on the town can sign up for activities such as laser-tag, bowling, and indoor miniature golf. For the couples who would like to stay in we will be featuring the captivating and entertaining Keith Connor. Keith will be performing his music in an acoustic café atmosphere.

Refreshments (by the infamous Bruce and Bonnie Entertainment Services), cards and board games will be available.

Luxurious Hotel

The Ft. Wayne Inn and Suites (formerly Holiday Inn - downtown Ft. Wayne) is a newly-renovated and updated grand old hotel with a fashionable blend of traditional elegance and charm. There is an indoor pool under a canopy of glass, billiards, and a modern Fitness Center.  Rooms are $62 plus taxes (per night) - nearly half price of their regular rate.

Gifts and Doorprize for Every Couple

A tradition at our Marriage Retreat is Ellen Stouffer Gift Boxes, filled with lots of goodies.  Each couple also gets a door prize (e.g. dinner for two, free hotel night, Adidas merchandise), a treat in your room, and a USA Today.  You also will have someone praying for you and will receive a card (or gift) of encouragement.

Carriage Rides

Sentimental Journey Carriage Rides will be there Saturday night from 5:00 to 8:40 pm. The cost will be $15 for 20 minutes.

Massages

Jamie Hashbarger of Healing Touch Massage will be there all day Saturday. There will be 5 minute ($5) or 15 minute ($10) chair massages available in between sessions outside the meeting room.  Or you can schedule a Swedish massage during the afternoon or early evening free time for $30.  She will be able to come to your room to give you the Swedish massage.

Affordable

There is a $70 registration cost per couple for those outside Wabash Friends Church and $45 per couple for regular attenders.  This reserves your place, pays for the Saturday luncheon, and contributes toward the speakers and entertainment costs. We will reserve your room and you will take care of the hotel cost upon arrival.
