Melanie Lowman, MA, LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry (2000) and her Master of Arts in Counseling at Huntington University (2012). In addition, she is an adjunct professor for the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling at Concordia University- Irvine.
She is clinically trained to provide a wide range of mental health treatment. She has group, child, adolescent, adult, couples, premarital, and geriatric clinical counseling experience. Her area of speciality includes working with trauma, PTSD, physical sexual abuse, anxiety, depression in addition to providing mental health services for military veterans, active duty men and women, and their families.
She considers it an honor to be a member of the Start Behavioral Health Providers registry that assists military veterans, active duty men and women and their families seeking mental health treatment.
