SLIDING SCALE for COUNSELING FEES
The services at Wabash Friends Counseling Center are performed by doctoral or master’s level counselors who are licensed by the state of Indiana or certified nationally by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Counseling fees are determined by regular attendance status and annual household income.

PAYMENT
Payment for counseling is due at the end of your counseling session. Checks should be made out to Wabash Friends Counseling Center. If you desire to use your insurance you should first check with your insurance company to see if they will reimburse for services provided by the Wabash Friends Counseling Center or Scott Makin, Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Since we are a small counseling center, we are not staffed to process extensive insurance forms. If you want to use your insurance you will still need to pay for the full amount of the counseling session. Your counselor can then give you a statement of your payments that you can submit to your insurance company so you can get reimbursed directly.
SESSIONS and CANCELLATIONS
Each counseling session lasts 50 minutes. When future appointments are made, we expect you to make a sincere effort to keep them. If a problem should arise, please call our office at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise you will be responsible to pay for your appointment time. Illnesses and weather related problems are exceptions. |
